What a disappointment.You could see the clue coming,even in the beginning of the movie you could.And when the twist finally comes,although you already expect it,its very too fast.Zellweger is such a talent but it just depends what character she gets to play .This times she is the overworked social worker who takes a young abused girl under her wings….I love Reene Zellweger’s movies but she just wasn’t the right person to play Emily .I don’t say she can’t act.I like her very much,but not in this kind of role.Jodelle Ferland playing Lilith,was very good though.Compliments,she is still so young!The story remind me of Orphan indeed,but Orphan was a lot better.I find it. a pity as well,there is no expalanation in Case 39.
